How to play Chessoccer
Set your team orders, choose what to do with the ball and press Ready. Your plan and the opponent's plan execute together.

Move the team and decide with the ball.
- 2Ready
Confirm when your plan is complete.
- 3Resolution
Both plans execute at the same time.
- 4Reaction
Place the goalkeeper when facing a shot.
1. Move your team
Select each outfield player and choose a destination up to three squares away. Spread out to create passing lanes.
2. Decide with the ball
Keep possession, pass to a teammate or shoot from the shooting zone. For passes, choose whether movement happens before or after the pass.
3. Confirm the plan
Press Ready. Both plans resolve together and can create crosses, steals, interceptions and possession changes.
4. React to shots
When the opponent shoots, place your goalkeeper in one of five goal positions before the reaction timer ends.
